#1) You will receive a monthly copy of the General Meeting Agenda
#2) Rider's Information Manual (By-Laws, Working Rules, etc.)
#3) Opportunity to participate in any changes in club programs
#4) Opportunity to participate in all Club activities ~~~~ Juniors will participate in junior activities
#5) Earn points at Club Shows toward year-end awards
#6) Serve on appointed committees
#7) Run for elected offices
#8) Sign up to be Show Chairperson and choose the events for your show
#9) Reduced fee for riding in our shows (you must work at the shows)
#10)Earn a free ride at Silver Show by collecting donations
#11)Be trained as a Gymkhana judge for club shows
#12)You are required to attend at least every third meeting
#13) No alcohol consumption during any horse related club activity

I acknowledge that horseback riding and/or Gymkhana is a sport that carries inherent
risks of injury and damage to myself, my horse and property. I knowingly assume all
risks, whether known or unknown, of horseback riding and/or Gymkhana and any or all
related activities.
I hereby release the Watsonville Saddlites, Inc. (hereinafter refered to as the 'Club') from all
liability for any act of negligence or want of ordinary care on the part of the Club or any of
its Agents.
In consideration of my participation in events organized or sponsored by the Club, I waive,
release and discharge the Club and their directors, officers, agents and members, their
representatives, heirs, executors and assigns from any and all claims of liability for damage
to myself, my animals or my property arising out of the participation. This agreement is
binding upon my executors, heirs and assigns.
I expressly waive any rights I may have under CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE 1542, which states
"A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to
exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him/her might
have materially affected his/her settlement with the debtor".
I agree that I will indemnify and hold harmless the Club and their officers, directors, members
and agents against all claims, demands, and causes of action, including court costs and actual
attorney fees, arising from any proceeding or lawsuits brought by or prosecuted for my benefit,
in which this release is upheld.
The Club, its agents or employees shall not be liable for any damage which may accure from any
cause or as a result of fire, theft, running away, state of health, injury to person, horse or property.
IN ADDITION, I, the undersigned parent or guardian of the named minor(s) in consideration of my
minor's participation in the events, agree that the terms and conditions of this RELEASE OF LIABILITY
shall be binding as to damage or injury to my minor, his/her animals, and property arising out of
his/her participation in Club events.
I acknowledge that I have read this RELEASE OF LIABILITY and know and understand its contents.
I further acknowledge that this release form applies to any and all Club activities in which I
participate.
